[CHANCE and DOROTHY continue to spar, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, narrowly missing each other, or successfully blocking them. Even with her Ozian blade, it seems like CHANCE’s own oddities make him a fairly even match.]
[But, as the fight continued… suddenly, the winds changed.]
[CHANCE, mid-leap, was thrown hurtling towards the city streets below.]
[CHANCE]: Wh-!?
[DOROTHY pauses, almost in shock as to how sudden he was thrown, but then quickly jumps down after him. She might be able to catch him, or something… or at least lessen any harm.]
[Using her Galebringer, she starts to channel some sort of counter-wind, just, anything to help. Which, thankfully, does end up working. She throws out the circular blade right where they were going to fall, and it manages to slow their descent enough so any damage was minimal.]
[CHANCE]: Ugh… Why did the wind just pick up then? I thought I set this to just a sort of rainstorm…
[DOROTHY shrugs, looking around at the ground floor. It seems like even this simulator has its limits, as all the lights and cars seemed to have disappeared, making it far eerier.]
[DOROTHY]: I don’t know… but something is off. I can tell.
[The smell of something burning starts to reach the air. They both turn and see, at the end of the block, a small spark of green give way to a large fire, enveloping the cardboard exterior of the building it was caused on. Then, it spread to the next building, and the next. Soon, the whole block was set ablaze.]
[DOROTHY]: Okay, this training thing is over. We need to get out. Now.
[But as the duo start to run, lighting strikes down right between them. Both are temporarily blinded, but… when their vision returns…]
[???]: Why… what’s the rush? I thought this little party was just beginning.
[Floating in front of DOROTHY was the WICKED WITCH. Adorned in a military-grade outfit, she glares down at the girl, her hand poised and flowing with magical energy.]
[DOROTHY]: Wh… No. NO.
[The witch gives a small smirk.]
[WICKED WITCH]: It’s nice to see you again as well, Gale.
[DOROTHY]: You- you weren’t supposed to be here.
[Her hand grips tighter around her blade as the fire rages on.]
[CHANCE]: …are you alright, Dorothy?
[WICKED WITCH]: Oh, and who’s this?
[She turns to look at CHANCE.]
[WICKED WITCH]: Another tin man, huh? Was Nick not enough for you?
[DOROTHY]: Shut up. Leave. Now.
[WICKED WITCH]: What? After I’ve come all this way?
[DOROTHY]: I SAID, LEAVE.
[DOROTHY pulls back her sword and swings, causing the blade to come spinning out at an extremely fast pace. As it spins, wind envelopes it, creating a mini twister. The WICKED WITCH doesn’t even flinch, and just bats the blade away with her magic.]
[WICKED WITCH]: Training without me, eh? You know that’s a bad idea.
[DOROTHY doesn’t respond, instead pulling the blade back into her sword and striking the ground with it. The blade begins to spin, tearing up chunks of the ground, which Dorothy then promptly sends flying at the witch with the blade once again.]
[WICKED WITCH]: Your potential will never be reached without a true teacher. Why are you denying it? I’m only going to improve you.
[The witch simply waves her hand again, and all the objects being thrown her way fly off in different directions. One nearly misses CHANCE.]
[CHANCE]: H-hey, Dorothy? I had to deal with- something like this too. If we come up with a sort of plan to deal with her, then we could-
[DOROTHY’s head snaps over to CHANCE. She brings her blade back once again, before spinning and sending a pure blast of wind over to CHANCE, sending him crashing into the building he was next to.]
[DOROTHY]: Stay OUT of this.
[WICKED WITCH]: You know, for someone who’s so keen on gathering troops, you do seem to love throwing them away.
[DOROTHY’s hands tremble with rage. She stares daggers at the witch, before striking the ground directly beneath her, causing her to be thrown into the air by a burst of wind. She then once again attempts to slash at the Witch, but is stopped in midair by her magic. The witch simply keeps her there, her left eye flickering with energy.]
[WICKED WITCH]: Oh, you are so misunderstood. Surrender now, or you shall become wicked.
[DOROTHY]: Shut up. SHUT. UP.
[CHANCE]: …
